Synopsis
In a move towards a hassle-free healthcare system, the public healthcare structure had gone through integration, moving from a 2 cluster system in the 1990s to a multiple-cluster system of Academic Medical Centres and Regional Healthcare Systems in the 21st century.  These changes impact the integration of processes such as the procurement and the accompanying governance framework.  The integration of process and systems bring along the centralisation of data, opening a new horizon for audit and the use of data analytics as one of the auditing tools.  In this session, we will discuss the consequential changes on the directives and landscape of audit brought upon with the public healthcare systems integration.
