Synopsis

Supplying good quality health support services for the people of Queensland has it’s challenges:
·         we service an area of 1,852,642 km²
·         the population is dispersed in exceedingly remote terrain
·         Queensland is home to 20% of Australia’s  population growing at a rate of 1.5% p.a
·         challenging weather conditions  with extremes in temperature and rainfall
·         with a requirement to stockpile emergency for supplies for natural and man-made disasters
These are our challenges but also our opportunities to manage and mitigate risks in an effort to create a more flexible and resilient supply chain. Our goal is to be the Supply Chain of Choice for our customers – and our focus in the presentation is on our roadmap to doing this.
