Synopsis
As never before, philanthropy has become the margin of excellence in healthcare. This is not because the hospital or system has needs, but rather because the communities you serve have needs. To this end, administration, staff, and volunteers have critical roles to play in identifying, cultivating, and presenting opportunities to probable donors and investors. To reach our greatest level of success, we must be strategic in our planning, and professional in our approach. This session will explore what motivates donors, the steps necessary in implementing the magic of an idea, and being reminded of what true fundraising is: An exchange of values that meets the need of the donor and advances the mission of the organization.
