Synopsis

ERM 4 - Total Workplace Safety & Health (TWSH) - Drivers, Challenges and Rewards

Traditionally, workplace safety and employee wellbeing are viewed as very separate agendas in the organization, with each having their own strategic objectives.

In recent years, drivers such as rising insurance premiums and medical treatment costs for injured employees have led to organizations seeing increasing value of integrating safety, health and employee well-being in a bid to leverage on the synergy of “Total Workplace Safety &  Health” or TWSH.

Mr. Saravanan will be reviewing the emerging drivers for TWSH, the challenges for successful implementation in large and complex organizations and the rewards that could be reaped.  He will also share on how to measure and what indicators to use in monitoring performance to verify effectiveness; using case studies from job portfolios that would benefit from TWSH.
