Mr Law Chung Ming is the Executive Director for the Transport & Logistics Division of Enterprise Singapore. Enterprise Singapore is the government agency championing enterprise development. The agency works with committed companies to build capabilities, innovate and internationalise. It also supports the growth of Singapore as a hub for global trading and startups, and builds trust in Singapore’s products and services through quality and standards. Mr Law works with companies in the Logistics, Aviation, Maritime, Land Transport, Logistics, Ecommerce Supply Chain and Supply Chain Technology to develop capabilities, innovate, transform, and catalyse local and international partnerships. This encompasses coordination with Enterprise Singapore’s overseas centres to develop trade and investment linkages between Singapore and global markets, providing in-market facilitation, market insights, intelligence, business and government connections, and consultancy advice for market entry and expansion into various regions.

Mr Law started his career with Enterprise Singapore (then Trade Development Board) in July 1995 in the International Trading Division. In July 1998, Mr Law was posted to Taipei as Centre Director of Enterprise Singapore’s Taipei Office. In September 2003, Mr Law was appointed as Centre Director of Enterprise Singapore’s Beijing Office, overseeing the North China region. He was also concurrently the First Secretary (Commercial) of the Republic of Singapore Embassy in Beijing, promoting business cooperation between Singapore and China.

In July 2006, Mr Law returned to Singapore and was seconded to the Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry as a Strategist in the newly-established Futures Group. The Futures Group identifies emerging global developments and generates ideas for the Singapore economy of the future. From November 2007 to May 2011, Mr Law assumed the position of Regional Director (South China) of Enterprise Singapore, based in Guangzhou to promote investments and business collaboration in South China by Singapore-based enterprises.

Mr Law was the Group Director for the China Group from May 2011 to October 2015. As Group Director of China Group, Mr Law was responsible for developing and implementing strategies and policies to assist the expansion of Singapore-based companies into China. Mr Law was appointed Group Director for the Transport & Logistics Group from November 2015.

Mr Law graduated from the National University of Singapore (Bachelor of Business Administration - Second Upper Honours) in 1995. Mr Law was awarded the Singapore Government’s Asian Business Fellowship in 2001 to study in Tsinghua University (Beijing, China) where he graduated with a Master of Business Administration in 2003. He is fluent in both Mandarin and English.
