Mr Eric Woo is the Regional Director of ECRI Institute, Asia Pacific office. He is responsible for the development and operations of ECRI Institute in this region.
 
Mr Woo brings with him 21 years of experience in healthcare industry, having learnt and built various businesses for medical technology organizations in Asia Pacific, managing a private hospital, and involved in stem cell therapy research for regenerative medicine. His healthcare management knowledge and experience has contributed to notable successes in his career. He improved the operational workflow in the hospital, introduced new technology in the Asian healthcare market and enhanced the methodology for technology adoption by utilizing an evidence-based approach, amongst other achievements.

In recent years, he has provided training and presented on topics relating to medical device accident investigations particularly on healthcare IT, healthcare risk management, patient safety concerns and technology management to various groups such as healthcare authorities and regulators, hospitals, associations and at conferences in Asia Pacific.
