Mr Alex Maxwell is DHL Supply Chain’s regional life sciences and healthcare business development lead in Asia Pacific.

Based in Singapore, he oversees a portfolio across the region which covers 132 customers, in 14 countries occupying more than 500,000 square-meters of warehousing space. The life sciences and healthcare sector generated around 17% of DHL Supply Chain’s annual revenue in 2017.

Mr Maxwell has over 20 years’ experience in the logistics industry, 17 of which has been in Asia Pacific working in the life sciences and healthcare sector, based out of Hong Kong, India, China and now Singapore. He has been with DHL Supply Chain since early 2012. Prior to that, he worked for major pharmaceutical companies including Novartis, Dade Behring Diagnostics and Fenwal Blood Technologies. Alex also worked in the semiconductor industry for three years as the General Manager of China for JSI Customized Logistics.

Mr Maxwell has an MBA from Liverpool University.
