Presentation Synopsis
Innovative Technologies for Clinical Trial Logistics

The Singapore government has recently announced that the focus on future healthcare has to include more “home care’ to meet the “graying” population. How does this play out in terms of keeping patients enrolled in clinical trials whilst remaining in the comfort of their own home?

Marken is already tackling the challenges – and advantages of providing both investigational drug delivery to patients’ homes and ensuring that blood and other biological samples are collected and transported safely to the central labs, often based thousands of miles away overseas.

The rise of personalised medicine, often involving Cell & Gene Therapy has demanded that logistics companies come up with highly sophisticated solutions to transport biological samples, often at deep frozen temperatures, across international boundaries – and back within a very short time frame. Marken has designed tailor made solutions to suit all therapeutic cell modification logistics, however complicated it can be.
