Presentation Synopsis
HM1: Thinking Both/And
Dualities and tensions are around us everyday in our lives. How do we balance the demands of today with the needs of tomorrow? How do we adhere to strong compliance and yet have a system that drives innovation? How do we balance shareholder value with social purpose?

Healthcare is no exception and many of these dilemmas appear as paradoxes and contradictions on the surface. For example, how can we deliver population health well and continue to develop tertiary and quarternary capabilities and how can we achieve the balance between patient safety and patient experience?

We will look at the paradoxes, dive into the contradictions and explore alternatives so that we can think both/and.
