Ms Clara Sin was appointed the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of NUH in 2018.  NUH, a member of the National University Health System (NUHS), is a 1,219-bed tertiary hospital. 
Ms Clara has been with NUH since 2002 and has extensive experience in hospital operations, overseeing various clinical departments and the set-up of the Lean Office, driving quality improvement.  She is also passionate about the education mission and during her time in the Education Office, supported the accreditation and roll out of the NUHS Residency Program, a post-graduate training program for medical specialist.  
As COO, Ms Clara was responsible for two major building developments at Kent Ridge campus – the National University Centre of Oral Health, Singapore and the Khoo Teck Puat – National University Children’s Medical Institute. 

Today, Ms Clara is also leading the Incredible Care movement at NUH which aims to build a culture change where staff are passionate and motivated to deliver incredible care for each other, and for the patients. 
At the NUHS front, Ms Clara took on the roles as COO, Group Service Transformation and Group Medical Records Office. In these roles, Ms Clara championed the use of technology to transform service delivery.  In 2021, the OneNUHS App was launched. Today, the OneNUHS App has an extensive reach and is the digital front door for NUHS. She also drove the digitalization of the old paper medical records through a digital archiving platform. Both the OneNUHS App and the archiving platform are integrated with the NUHS new generation electronic medical records, allowing for an integrated platform across NUHS.  
These technology initiatives, together with the Incredible Care movement efforts, aims to transform the way service is delivered in NUHS. 
A strong advocate of staff development and mentoring of young leaders, Clara is also involved in the MOH Singapore Industry Scholarship for Healthcare Administrator to groom the next generation of healthcare administrators.
