Mr Norhaizad Bin Idris healthcare journey started in 2011. He was previously from MHA, Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF). Armed with diploma, Mr Norhaizad was employed by the KKH as a non-exempt staff - Senior Security Supervisor. His role is to oversee security operation and assist on fire safety related matters. He was then tasked to take over the role of the Fire Safety Manager for the hospital later in 2011.

At the same time, Mr Norhaizad started his part time study at UniSim on Human Factors Safety. He graduated from the UniSim in 2015 and have also “upgraded” to Senior Fire Safety Manager. Subsequently, Mr Norhaizad registered himself as a registered WSHO with MOM.

Through his journey in KKH, Mr Norhaizad has grown from mainly fire safety to different areas; Security, WSH and Patient Safety. This is what he has achieved within the 8 years.
