Guotong Xie, Ph.D, PingAn Group Chief Healthcare Scientist. Dr Xie is leading the R&D of PingAn Health Technology. Making AI as the core technology and PingAn Cloud as the foundation, PingAn Health Tech builds the end-to-end healthcare solution which includes disease prediction, smart triage and pre-diagnosis, smart imaging, clinical decision support system (CDSS) and personalized patient management. PingAn Health Tech has set up the collaboration with many province & city level governments and pilots the solutions in hundreds of health providers. Before joining PingAn, Dr Xie is the director of IBM Research China cognitive healthcare department and co-leading the IBM global healthcare strategy. He has more than 15 years in artificial intelligence and applying the technologies in healthcare areas. He has published more that 50 papers in top international conferences and obtained more than 40 patents. He has obtained IBM outstanding awards three times and was granted the best IBMer in 2016.
