Presentation Synopsis
Cybersecurity Challenges in the HealthCare sector

Cybersecurity is usually viewed as an inconvenience rather than a necessity; Why do I have to use complex passwords and change it so often? Why are there so many restrictions on the websites I can surf? Why do I need 2FA when logging in? Although most people agree that every individual has a role to play in cybersecurity, not all of them practise cybersecurity because it is viewed as an inconvenience. With the rapid growth of, development of, and reliance on technology, it is important that everyone regards cybersecurity as a priority. For the healthcare sector, this is even more important because the healthcare sector revolves around patient safety and patient confidentiality. This talk will cover some of the cybersecurity challenges faced in the healthcare sector and possible solutions to them.
