Mr Donald Low is the Associate Dean for Research and Executive Education at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. His research covers inequality, social spending, behavioural economics, and governance and politics in Singapore. Prior to his current appointment, he held senior positions at the Ministry of Finance, the Prime Minister’s Office and the Civil Service College. Donald is the editor of Behavioural Economics and Policy Design: Examples from Singapore (2011). His latest book, Hard Choices: Challenging the Singapore Consensus, makes the case for far-reaching policy and institutional reforms given the profound changes in Singapore’s operating environment.
