Presentation Synopsis
Navigating the Cyber Security Conundrum & Building Cyber Resilience

Modern healthcare institutions operate at the cross section of cutting edge technology and vast amounts of protected health data, making them an attractive target among threat actors. How do organisations defend data, technology, patients and ultimately the institution itself, against threats that are constantly evolving?

Cyber attacks have become more sophisticated and prevalent than ever. Technology is advancing at a pace greater than the enterprises’ ability to guard and secure it against threats. Cyber security is a multifaceted issue that spans across governance and policy formulation, awareness and work culture. How do we understand and measure risk exposure?

An attack is a matter of time. How do we minimize impact and optimize resources in the event of a breach, so that we are able to contain damage, communicate to affected parties, recover and resume to business as usual?

In this session, we will try to navigate these problems and explore ideas that would help institutions build cyber resilience.
