A/Prof Nicholas Chew is a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist in Tan Tock Seng Hospital where he served as the Assistant Chairman Medical Board (Medical Manpower Development) and the Deputy Head of Department. He started the HIV Psychiatry and the Post-Stroke Depression Programmes. He served as the Designated Institutional Official for NHG Residency from 2010 to 2017.

Nicholas graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1995, holds a Masters of Medicine in Psychiatry (NUS, 2001), and a Masters of Science in Health Professions Education from Massachusetts General Hospital, Institute of Health Professions (2013). 

He currently serves as the Group Chief Education Officer of National Healthcare Group and was appointed Chairman Medical Board, Woodlands Health Campus in April 2017.

The session offers insights into the role that collective leadership plays in building trust and relationships in NHG as we navigate to build the future of health for our population.  It involves building a community to care for one another, in teams and across the network. We will share how NHG enables collective leadership; and the early results that NHG is experiencing.
