Ms Laura Kaiser, FACHE, serves as President and Chief Executive Officer at SSM Health, an integrated, not-for-profit Catholic health system, consisting of 20 hospitals, over 70 clinics, more than 1400 employed physicians and 8,500 affiliated physicians, a health plan, pharmacy benefit management company, home care and two long term care facilities. The organisation is well known for its commitment to high quality having been chosen as the first health care recipient of the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige Quality award. Based in St. Louis, Missouri, Ms Kaiser’s current focus is on delivering SSM’s mission and vision of providing exceptional care for people throughout its service area of Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma and Wisconsin. Prior to joining SSM Health in 2017, Ms Kaiser served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Over the course of her 30+ year career in healthcare, Ms Kaiser has contributed significantly to improvements in healthcare operations, service and quality standards. As a leader, she recognises the importance of sharing her expertise, insights and best practices across the healthcare industry and is actively involved in several national committees, councils, forums and conferences.

Ms Kaiser holds a Master of Business Administration and Master of Healthcare Administration from Saint Louis University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services Management from the University of Missouri and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
